Pokemon Platinum
I wouldn't normally use a Flareon, but there was a lack of decent fire pokemon early and mid game. This was my elite four team!
this was my second ever pokemon game, and one of the only ones i pick a non-fire starter in. not that i used my empoleon much tbh. gastrodon is slow, but water/ground is a really useful combo!! the pokewatch on this game was a really innovative way of utilising the touch screen. I first played this in 2009 and have replayed sooo many times!

one of my all-time fave pokemon games. I have replayed this game sooo many times with many different teams.
I always start with Cyndaquil, and Quilava is one of my fave pokemon so I don't tend to evolve them into Typhlosion. same with Mareep; probably my tope fave pokemon. I don't have anything against Ampharos, but I just a d o r e Mareep.
I got a Mareep plushie for my bday this year from my parents, which is wild cause they told me pokemon was for kids when i was 12, but now i am 26 i get a plush!!

Pokemon Sword
I honestly loved this game, although most of the fights were quite easy. having it set in the UK was pretty funny tbh. I loved the wild area! my last playthrough I did a nuzlocke and my Cinderace named Zuko fuckin DIED to Piers' fucking Stunky cause it has the ability aftermath which took him out after I KO'd him. I was literally so sad. words cannot describe. and then I had to partner upwith him? UNCONSCIOUNABLE!

Pokemon Shining Pearl
this was an incredibly disappointing game. in every sense of the word. nevertheless, i bought a digital copy so i felt like it would have been more hassle trying to return it on the nintendo eshop. i spent a loon time breeding eevees for a shiny (hatched over 1700 eggs with a shiny charm) and all i managed to do was break (another) set of joycons!! i'll write a proper review of BDSP at some point, because it was such a let down when compared with Platinum and arceus which came out at the same damn time!
